We review rack photos, available port records, equipment access and the condition of patch panels and cable management. Together with your IT team, we identify what can be reorganized and what needs tracing, testing or a scheduled interruption.
For an active network, agree on the maintenance window and the services that must be checked after reconnecting. Physical cable management and switch configuration are separate responsibilities unless both are included in the scope.

Can the rack be cleaned up without downtime?
Some work may be possible without disconnecting equipment, but moving or replacing active patch cords can interrupt service. We review the work and agree on any maintenance window in advance.
Do you remove unidentified or unused cables?
Removal needs to be approved after the affected connections are identified. We do not treat an unlabeled cable as unused simply because its purpose is unclear.
Will you change our switch configuration?
Only if configuration work is explicitly included. Port settings, network changes and application checks are otherwise coordinated with your IT team or managed service provider.
What documentation will we receive?
The quote can include cable labels, port records, before-and-after photos and agreed test results. The documentation level depends on how much tracing and testing is included.
