Use measurements to guide access-point placement
Adding an access point without reviewing the existing network can leave the underlying problem unresolved. Walls, neighboring networks, mounting positions and client devices all affect wireless performance.
A Wi-Fi site survey and coverage map can document weak areas and inform placement or relocation. The survey is a defined service with its own deliverables; installation and any follow-up validation are specified separately.

- Review the proposed AP positions, floor plan and building access.
- Install Cat6 or Cat6A data cabling to the agreed locations.
- Mount access points using hardware suited to the surface and equipment.
- Coordinate PoE power, switch ports and patching with the network owner.
- Label cable runs and record the AP locations for maintenance.
- Include configuration or post-installation survey work when listed in the quote.

A clear handoff to your IT team
Before installation, agree who supplies the access points, owns the controller account, configures the network and verifies the finished service. This helps avoid a completed physical installation waiting on missing settings or equipment.
At closeout, the agreed records can identify AP locations, cable labels and switch connections. A post-installation Wi-Fi survey can provide documented coverage measurements rather than relying only on a speed test beside one access point.

How many access points does my business need?
Square footage alone is not enough to decide. Walls, mounting options, user density, device types and the areas requiring service all matter. A floor plan and, where appropriate, a site survey help establish the installation scope.
Can you install access points supplied by our IT provider?
Yes. Share the equipment models, mounting requirements and placement plan. We coordinate cabling, PoE and the configuration handoff with your IT provider.
Will adding access points fix slow Wi-Fi?
It depends on the cause. Coverage gaps, interference, device limitations, configuration and the internet connection can produce similar symptoms. A survey can help identify wireless conditions before you commit to changes.
Does installation include guest Wi-Fi or network configuration?
Configuration is included only when specified. Tell us about guest access, network separation, controller access and any IT policies before quoting so responsibilities are agreed.
